      I’ve been seriously trying to learn Facebook Ads and performance marketing lately, but the amount of information out there honestly feels overwhelming at times.

      There are so many moving parts involved:

      * Audience targeting
      * Ad creatives
      * Copywriting
      * Pixel setup and tracking
      * Campaign structure
      * Scaling strategies
      * A/B testing
      * CTR, CPM, CPC, CPA metrics
      * Retargeting funnels
      * Lookalike audiences
      * Broad targeting
      * Conversion optimization

      And on top of that, every “expert” seems to have a completely different opinion.

      Some people say:

      * “Creative is everything now.”
      * Others say strong copywriting is the real difference-maker.
      * Some claim targeting barely matters anymore because Meta’s AI handles most of the optimization automatically.
      * Then there are people saying testing volume and offer quality matter more than anything else.

      As someone still learning, it’s hard to figure out what actually moves the needle versus what’s just social media noise.

      So I wanted to ask the experienced media buyers and performance marketers here:

      For those of you who are consistently profitable with Facebook Ads in 2026:

      * What helped you improve the fastest?
      * What concepts should beginners focus on first?
      * What mistakes slowed your growth early on?
      * Did your biggest improvement come from better creatives, data analysis, testing systems, or understanding consumer psychology?
      * If you had to restart from zero today, what would you learn first?

      Would genuinely appreciate practical advice from people actively running profitable Meta ad campaigns today.
